We bring homeowners, land managers, and fire practitioners together to build fire-adapted communities. Our mission is to provide education, training, and operational support that strengthens resilience, restores landscapes, and grows the skilled workforce needed to safely implement good fire.

this is our mission

Homeowner Resources for Defensible Space & Good Fire

Healthy Forest Alliance provides homeowners with defensible space inspections, home-hardening guidance, property-owner burn plans, prescribed fire assistance, equipment rentals, and educational support. We help residents reduce wildfire risk, prepare their land, and safely participate in good-fire practices that protect homes and communities.

Healthy Forest Alliance assists land managers with prescribed fire planning, burn operations, fuels reduction, training, and crew support. We provide professional expertise, equipment, and partnerships to help restore landscapes, reduce wildfire risk, and implement effective, science-based vegetation management across public and private lands.

Fire Practitioner Services: Training, Qualifications & Field Experience

Healthy Forest Alliance supports fire practitioners with NWCG training, Red Cards, Task Book initiation, trainee assignments, equipment rentals, and deployment opportunities. We provide qualifications, mentorship, and hands-on experience to help practitioners build skills, meet standards, and advance their careers in prescribed fire and wildfire resilience.
